This was our first trip here. It was very pleasant. We stayed in section E. The camping sites are spacious, the facilities are clean & well kept, and the staff & sheriff drove through the park several times a day. Looking forward to visiting again.

A31 site was nice. Was a little hard to back a 31’ bumper pull into spot but got it done. We will be staying at this campground again.

This is the most beautiful place in Arkansas to camp. It would be nice to have more water faucets.

Overall this is a great campsite. The sites are generously spread out so that you are not too close to the adjoining sites. There are few things that we experienced that were disappointing. One was the facilities. Some of the shower facilities were in need of repairs. My wife had a problem with the showers in loop E as there was no hot water available. The campground is well kept and clean. We were at site A34 which is a great waterfront site but the slope of the site is shown as slight but I would state it is actually moderate. There appears to be ongoing site improvements as I observed individuals surveying area A and that many sites had recently been repaved with new asphalt, which made most of the sites very level.

Perfect weekend. Nice quiet loop. Not easy water access just because of brush and overgrowth, but the view was excellent.
