What Guests Are Saying
Old Highway 25 is a highly praised campsite with beautiful lake views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for family camping trips. Many guests enjoyed the spacious and well-maintained sites, especially in sections E and G, and appreciated the friendly staff and recreational opportunities. Some concerns were raised regarding water access and maintenance, but overall, the positive experiences and scenic environment lead to a strong recommendation for future visits.

Enjoyed our overnight camping trip. Wished we didn’t have to go online to get a site prior to that day.

Site was good neighbor had a very loud barking dog my dog was quiet the park ranger was an ass and accused us of our dog being loud while we were being interrupted by the neighbors dog barking while he was talking to me then the ranger said the night before we had left in and out to much. I have a one year old and was in bed by 8 who’s is way before the 10pm quiet time. Idk what his deal was but his attitude was not needed and really ruined our trip

We select site C4 because it said it was trailer space that long enough for our 17ft trailer. But what it didn't say is that the space was so unlevel there was NO WAY we could park without being on a 35 or 40 degree slope. Even putting our leveling chalks under the trailer didn't make a difference. We moved sites to A6 and it was late at night (8pm) and the park attendant told us to go online to modify our reservation. But the website kept saying there was an error and there was no way to modify. We spoke to the park attendant the very next morning and some people had come in at midnight and reserved our spot in A6 (although we were there) at midnight. The next morning, since the spot they took had been reserved by someone else then we were asked to move. Again, we got on the website to move sites and again when we hit the checkout button after modify it wouldn't let us modify the reservation and had an error. Since we never were able to reserve / modify to get spot A6 they sent the park ranger to ask us to move, which we were about packed up to head back to our original spot where we would be unlevel pray that we didn't tip over into the lake. Also, when we showed the ranger how the site wouldn't work, he just said, well.. we have bad wifi here. Worst experience ever!

The site was large and the setting beautiful. There is a great hiking trail just on the other side of the dam.
