The family had a good time. Easy access to the lake for kayaking and swimming. Easy walk to the store for supplies/food.

Pretty close to the main road around the lake, but not much traffic during the day. Night was really quiet. Hosts were helpful and gracious.

We had a good time at the campground. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only bad experience we had was a bear broke into our tent. Mathew, the campground manager was helpful and told us that they have been asking for Bear Boxes for some time now. We agree that it would be a good addition to the campgrounds.

It was very hot, but so much better than home. The lake was an Oasis, and the campground clean, inviting and well taken care of. Our camp host was Carmen, we felt welcomed and informed and she kept the facilities sparkling. Plus she was so caring.
We are going camping again in September and look forward to the trip!

We stayed a week in site 14, which is right next to the BassLake main road. We got used to the auto travel noise quickly and it wasn't the bother we thought it would be. Good back in access for our 28' TT. No afternoon shade, a pop up is necessary.
Great lake access for fishing or sitting lakeside as the water is right across the road.

From Fresno, California: Take Highway 41 north through Oakhurst. Turn right on Forest Road 222 (toward Bass Lake), keep right for 3.5 miles to the Bass Lake Campground office. After registering, continue on for approximately 1.25 miles to the Forks Campground.

General
- All campers must check in at the registration office
- This campground has a security guard on patrol and an on-site host
- Two pets per site and leashed at all times.
- Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Sierra National Forest Headquarters, (559) 297-0706.
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.
