Beautiful campground that is right across the street from Bass Lake. The bathrooms are well-maintained and clean. Campground host was available for questions and was very friendly. Can’t wait to go back again!!

We spent a wonderful afternoon swimming in Bass lake, just a short walk from the camp site during the July heatwave. The next morning we hiked on the Mountain Goat trail with plenty of shade. Bathrooms are squeaky clean and the host is friendly.

Pretty close to the main road around the lake, but not much traffic during the day. Night was really quiet. Hosts were helpful and gracious.

The family had a good time. Easy access to the lake for kayaking and swimming. Easy walk to the store for supplies/food.

The campground is good. Has everything you would expect. Cleanish bathrooms. Mostly flat campsites. The camp host was very welcoming. However some camp sites (including ours) are close to a busy road so we experienced traffic all night. Also no bear boxes for an area that has seen recent bear activity. The campground is also not as remote since this area is pretty commercial and close to big towns.

From Fresno, California: Take Highway 41 north through Oakhurst. Turn right on Forest Road 222 (toward Bass Lake), keep right for 3.5 miles to the Bass Lake Campground office. After registering, continue on for approximately 1.25 miles to the Forks Campground.

General
- All campers must check in at the registration office
- This campground has a security guard on patrol and an on-site host
- Two pets per site and leashed at all times.
- Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Sierra National Forest Headquarters, (559) 297-0706.
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.
