This is a beautiful, well kept campground. Many campsights have great views of Bass Lake, which is a 5 min. walk. There is boating, fishing & swimming. Hiking trails right from camp. Campground has flush toilets, some electric hook ups, & water spickets. Camps hosts are excellent. They are friendly & helpful. They keep the grounds very clean. Yosemite is a mare 13 mile drive away, & Oakhurst, 10 min. away, where there are restaurants, grocery stores, and bait shops.

Nice place with a lake view. But too close to the road where loud trucks and motorcycles pass by. Definitely will camp here again but further up and away from the road.

We stayed at Forks campground over the Father's day week. We stayed for 3 nights. This is our 2nd time staying at this campground. We absolutely love it. The host couple are so nice. The bathrooms were always clean. The only thing was that there was a momma bear in the area and some people do not know how to listen when they tell you not to leave any food out. Do not leave your coolers out put them in your car. But other than hearing the car alarms going off at midnight it was fine. We had no bears visiting us. We love staying here close to bass lake. We went during Covid so we wore our masks to all the shops and restaurants. Right next to the campground is Forks resort and restaurant. We had lunch there after we set up camp. Food is amazing and they staff are very nice. This is the only place we will eat at this side of the lake. Everyone keeps their masks on while serving food. And you have to wear a mask to go into their market. Miller's Landing is only good for showers and laundry. But even then the showers were gross. But Forks campground is a gem.

Overall I give it 4 stars. We reserved Site 27. It was very big, but dusty. There were no trees which did not hamper star viewing or a view of the lake.

No showers onsite.
Closest showers are 3 miles down the road at Miller’s ($4 for 5 minutes)
Bathrooms were clean and very close to the lake. Our spots had shade but some had no shade cover.
Cell service was spotty. Calls would drop and sometimes texts wouldn’t go through.
Absolutely no data/internet connection.
