Great Location Near Bass Lake — Clean and Quiet Campground
Spring Cove Campground is in an awesome spot—right across the road from Bass Lake, which makes for easy access to the water without being right in the middle of the crowds. Even though it was a busy weekend, our campsite felt peaceful and relatively private, which was a pleasant surprise.
The campground itself was well maintained. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with toilet paper throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The only downside is that there are no showers on-site, but if you're in need, there are public showers available just a short drive away at Miller’s Landing.
All in all, a great location for a relaxing stay near the lake!

The campground host Steven was very helpful in answering questions and making sure we had the best camping experience. Restrooms were clean.

This campsite is a 5 minute walk from the lake. No drinking water but there’s a little store close. The camp site manager Steven was so kind and chill and helpful! Campsite 14 has a beautiful view of the lake. Some spots can get toasty during summer so try and look online for shaded sites. Really such a spectacular stay!!! We LOVED bass lake and spring cove!!!! Gorgeous. You can rent a boat or other fun stuff from Miller’s landing a 5 minute drive or 15 ish minute walk from the grounds. Also check out Buckhorn Saloon for drinks and very friendly open atmosphere they serve food there some days too. Reception is spotty but our phones adjusted the 2nd night or so. It was very hot! The lake cooled us off but be sure to shade yourself and stay hydrated. If you walk to the edge rocks by the lake you can get clearer water with less people and little kids around if you’re looking for something more private.

Bathrooms were in disarray this year. Only one with working water in the faucets and no maintenance.

It’s a beautiful section of bass lake. Everything is close and walking distance to miller landing. Plus has several areas to go hiking around your campsite.

Camp host was wonderful!! It was our first time camping and our host answered all of our questions and as first timers we had a lot. He gave us a lot of tips on how camping works and where to go to find what we are looking for he has personalized recommendations for every one. We got campsite number 37 at the last minute just out of sure luck I'm guessing it was a cancellation it was the only one available so I was expecting the worse. When we arrived it exceeded our expectations. It had shade, a picnic table under the trees, a nicely placed fire pit, it was very close to the bathroom and water spigot which was a plus for us and it was towards the back away from the main road.

The lake is so beautiful and the campground is extremely clean. I loved everything about the trip except the fact that the mosquitoes were unbearable at our campsite. We couldn’t even be at our campsite unless we were inside of our tent. We ended up spending all of our time by the lake or away from our campsite because of the mosquitoes. The camp host did acknowledge that they were bad this year but yikes. It was unfortunate because we love the lake and all the amenities.

We spent 5 days at Spring Cove and had a great time! Steve and his wife (camp host) were great and do an amazing job keeping the camp grounds clean. They are friendly and so helpful with any questions we had.
Be sure to bring tons of bug spray! Mosquitos are in full force!

We stayed here as our base for visiting Yosemite National Park. We enjoyed the lake views while here.
