Clean and quiet just like it was 60 years ago when I first camped here with my parents. Camp host, Stephen was extremely friendly, helpful, and very caring, going above and beyond to check on us, two senior widows. Close to Yosemite.

Our family reserved our camping spots months in advance. Our areas were overgrown, about waist high. We had to wait a long time, the lady clearing the area asked for help/backup she was told she could handle it. And because the weeds were so high, it aggravated the mosquitoes even more. I hope whomever had our spots later had a better experience since it was cut down for us.
We were told not to bring wood in and the wood we purchased from the camp host was infested with some type of beetle

We loved this campground! We had site 50 and site 30, about a 2 minute walk from each other. Site 30 was moderately secluded with a nice woodsy background and close to the bathroom. Site 50 was a larger corner lot and more secluded but a bit more mosquitos. Definitely bring bug spray, citronella candles and bug nets if you have them! It was so nice to be less than a 5 minute walk from Bass Lake to swim/ float. Even for a holiday weekend, it was busy but not too crowded or too loud. Millers store for essentials and ice cream and water activities was a 5 minute drive. Steve the campground host was wonderful! Firewood also available for purchase on site. We loved it and will definitely be back!

My family and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. Once we got there, we ran into Stephen that helped us find our campsite. Stephen was very helpful and kind. The location of this campground is GREAT. I've camped a lot over the years and this location is great because you are truly in the middle of a forest. We will definitely be making this campground a yearly trip from now on!

We went early in the season. It was overcast on the weekend so most of the time we were driving around seeing the sights. Cool pictures of the lake with no sun. Bathrooms were super clean.

This site is nice and quiet. Not much shade during the day but we’re at the lake at that time. The restroom is down hill but the walk back is a bit much for the older folk.
