What Guests Are Saying
Wishon Bass Lake campground offers a great location near the lake and amenities, making it a favorite for many families who return annually. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms and beautiful views, with some sites being spacious enough for larger groups. However, issues such as rude camp hosts, noise disturbances, unlevel campsites, and lack of bear boxes have been noted, impacting the overall experience for some visitors.

Nice campground. We try to stay here once a year. This year’s trip was very good, only drawback was hearing someone getting sick from drinking too much the night before. Other than that, a pleasant stay.

My family and I started to go to Bass Lake 7 years ago. We have been coming back to bass lake/ Miller's resort every year. It is an incredible place to go to. The staff is very friendly, on the camp site and at Miller's. My family and I always get to site's. Why because we always have friends and family tagging along. We rent out a boat every time, and eat at Miller's. Miller's food is so good, can't ask for a better ice cream or snow cone. We also went up to Yosemite, it was about a 30 min drive, but well worth it. To see all the trees, trails and water falls, it was breath taking. To see all the different animals as well. I can't wait for next year. It's mine and my families happy place.

Love this campground! Best sites are 1-5, nearest to the lake and the view is amazing! There is a water spout available and flushing toilets. Showers located at Miller’s Landing which is open until 8PM. General store is there also as well as cabins for rent. Will be back here again!

We love bass lake, but it was hot. We couldn’t get into our spot - even though we paid for a double. There was a stump in the way and they have these stupid posts and curbs that make it even more difficult. Love the lake, hate the sites- if you have a trailer.

The campsite is situated across the street from the lake. Firewood can be bought from the host. Vicki our host was super helpful. The loops are pretty tight which means you become fast friends with other campers. We brought a make shift dressing room which was helpful for us. No reception from t-mobile 😐

I wished our tent campsite was better maintained. There were bits of trash left behind from the previous campers and many bottle caps. There was a lot of poison oak directly surrounding the site that could have been cut back. The dumpsters would get full and left over flowing with bags of trash. Other surrounding campers didn't follow the quiet time hours starting at 10pm. Toilet paper was not always stocked. We appreciated the close proximity of the lake. Overall, people just need to pick up after themselves and areas surrounding the lake had lot's of trash and this is very sad to see.

This is a great place for outdoor camping. The place was cleaned ready for camping when I got there with Plenty of trees for shade and privacy. Has the best access to the lake. I am coming back for more family time.
