What Guests Are Saying
Plaskett Creek Campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting just a short walk from Sand Dollar Beach, making it a great spot for camping. Many visitors praised the friendly camp hosts and the spacious, scenic environment, ideal for families and pets. However, the campground faces criticism due to the lack of potable water and restroom facilities, with porta potties being the only option, which some found unsatisfactory.

Good view into the sea, noise from traffic at night.

No water on site. This has been the case for over a year with no plans for improvement. Potapotties only.
The park contractors live next door and run a community generator all hour. Don’t reserve any site near the north entrance
In my opinion this awesome campground is not what it use to be.

Unfortunately the toilets were closed due to a leak and the temporary toilets were grim. we didn’t see the warden so had no idea of walks apart from down to beach which was lovely

Campsites are huge and location is great !
Similar to what other reviews said -
Friday night there was a big party that was raging so loud until 12-1 am. Next day when I asked the host what time quiet hours were, she said 10 but if no one complains they don’t enforce since she’s not working then… which was disappointing. Also note: half of the water spouts are disabled. The water spouts that do work are not potable, and there are only portapotties. It worked fine for us but it took a while to realize that there was in fact water. We were right next to the portas which was not a problem except the last day got a little stinky
