This campground is amazing. My family had an amazing trip and sand dollar beach, just across the highway, is one of the best beaches we’ve ever been to. My only complaint is the lack of courtesy from other campers at this campground. We have been to campgrounds all over California and we have never seen so many people, kids and adults, with complete disregard for personal space. There were people walking through our campsite the entire time. It’s kind of hard to enjoy a family dinner or a camp fire when strangers are constantly walking by the table, in between our truck and trailer, and all through our set up. Overall, still a great campground and we are already talking about when we are going back.

clean and well maintained campground! extremely friendly and helpful staff. QUITE!!! fortunately there were NO LA HODADS to ruin everyone's peaceful time :) and GREAT access to the back country via plaskett creek road. beautiful hiking to the coast and beaches right across highway 1
