This is a great location for camping, offers shade cover, short walk to the water and a great campsite to relax in.

Campground was spacious and very clean. Our site had a short distant walk to the water with a great view. The only real downside is that swimming was not as accessible (we did find some areas ) and there were bugs by the water that bit the family.

Plumas National Forest, is renowned for its diverse landscapes, including dense forests, lakes, and mountainous terrain. The scenic beauty attracts outdoor enthusiasts with opportunities for hiking, camping, and fishing. It's a haven for nature lovers seeking a tranquil escape. You avoid the crowds but cell service may be limited. Nature is unforgiving of fools so be prepared for anything that the weather may spring at you.

We love Lake Davis and Grasshopper Flats campground. It is so beautiful and we did really well on our catfish fishing! Not as many people camping during the week as on weekends, one if the perks of retirement. We always meet the friendliest people here. In the Top 3 of best places to camp.

Nice site. Drained well from a hard rain. Quiet over Labor Day.
