We had difficulty with paying online. David the camp manager came through for us. The camp site was very nice and clean.

The campsite was clean and the firepit had been emptied which is a rarity now.

Spacious campsites. Fun for all! Great places for the dogs to run and play just outside the campgrounds. Amazing views on the lake while kayaking. A ton of bird species to be seen. Eagles, pelicans and many, many more! Relaxing and quiet thanks to the awesome campground host. Campground rules definitely enforced which made our stay much more pleasant. Campsites are in the thick of the trees with the lake close by. We decided to try something new and will absolutely be returning to Lake Davis and one of the several campgrounds. Great fun and relaxation for all!

The site was clean and well prepared. While we were there we observed the camphosts cleaning other sites as well as emptying the firepits. This is something we have not seen since Ron and Pat were the hosts a number of years ago. We were very happy to see this.

Enjoyed the location and the camp hosts did an amazing job of maintaining the facilities better than most locations I have visited. Only drawback is that some fellow campers feel the need to make excessive amounts of noise and some almost all night.

Nice campground. Waaaay to expensive per night for a fire pit and pit toilets. Full hookup private campground 3 miles away was $8 more per night

From Reno, travel north on Highway 395 to Highway 70 and turn west to Portola. From Portola, take County Road 126 north for 7 miles, then County Road 112 to the east side of Lake Davis. Continue approximately 5 miles to the campground, which is on the left.

General
- Generally, campsites will accommodate 2 vehicles. The first vehicle is included in the site fee, the second vehicle fee will be collected onsite at the daily rate posted on the fee sign.
- Some sites are available on a first-come, first serve basis.
- Bears frequent the area; practice safe food storage techniques. Bear resistant lockers are not provided. Click here for more information.
- Frequent strong winds can cause the lake to become very hazardous for small craft.
- Water skiing and jet skiing are not permitted on the lake.
