Highly recommend. There is a near by river with plenty of swim holes. The lake is walking distance about 10 minutes. Small connivence store right down the road. The campsite are fairly spread out so you dont feel like someone is camping on top of you.

Clean, quite and peaceful with a great backdrop up the Sawtooth range. The chipmunks were bold in their theft of food, so be sure to guard and protect edibles (even those at arm's length!) when cooking or cleaning. A great Sierra Nevada campground!

This was our 2nd year staying at Crags, we like it because it's quiet, clean and close to the lake. It is more spacious than some of the other campgrounds and the area is always clean. My husband and I are older so we like the less active community there. The camp hosts are very nice, they keep the facility up and have wood available as you come in which is easier than packing it in yourself. I can’t wait to come again this year.

The campground is well maintained. It is clean and bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.
And, of course, Crags and the Twin Lakes area are absolutely gorgeous.
