Plenty of space! Could hardly see or hear our neighbors. There was a nice little stream that ran through our campground and provided white noise at night which gave us a great night of sleep. The bathrooms are kept very clean.

I have been camping here for 22 years and it’s a 2nd home to my kids. The last 6 years, it has been overrun with So Cal and Bay Area people rafting in the creek. This creek is for fisherman. That’s why we are there. Not even a mile down the road are 2 very large lakes. They are great for rafting, paddle boarding, kayaking and playing in the water. I went to my favorite fishing hole only to find a family sitting in the creek with their kids playing. Just the day before, my son pulled a woman out of that same spot because she wanted to swim and the current took her and had her pinned underneath a downed tree. The creek is fast moving and dangerous. I would love to see something done about people rafting down the creek and make it for fishing only. We come here because of the great fishing and it is being taken over by those who feel entitled to put ropes across the creek to stop themselves from rafting too far and by those who find zero problem rafting right where you have your fishing line in the water. It is getting worse and worse and makes those of us “old timers” sad that it will be taken over by people who are just clueless.

We had the best campsite in the whole place! So many deer coming through camp and pretty quiet except for the noise on the road, but you easily can block that out by enjoying the scenery. The camp host was very pleasant and overall, we had a great, relaxing weekend!

No fish in the streams. No toilet paper in the bathrooms for almost 2 full days. Very peaceful and relaxing. We were told that the streams were going to be stocked.

North Honeymoon Flat is an excellent CG. Small and remote from the busy, congested areas to the south and west.
this is my 3d season. And the CG host is esepecially helpful and friendly
