At over 10,000 foot elevation, this area has great hiking trails, many little lakes and places to explore.
The campground is clean and close to Trumbull Lake. The 2019 Campground Host was most fabulous.
We were fortunate that most of the other campers, fished during the early morning as it resulted in a very quiet campground at night.

Trumbull Lake CG is a long-time favorite of ours. We began camping there in a tent in 1980, then several tent-campers and finally a modest size motorhome. The beauty of the area and proximity to Yosemite and Bodie makes for great day-hikes and great day-trips.

Live in Bishop and visit Trumbull every year with several friends and family. Quiet campground, plenty of deer and occasional bear. Fishing is always good.
