My site was double booked, meaning I was completely set up and eating lunch when a woman showed up who had also booked the same spot. I broke down and moved into my daughters site only to have the rangers later confirm it was my site and there had been constant double bookings. They said I was welcome to ask for a refund and they’d note it, but there is no where to request a refund on this site.

I was hesitant at first to reserve here due the the minimal reviews and photos but was a great choice and will be coming back again for sure! Great area along the river, camping site 002 is great if you want to be right if front of the river it’s more on the shallow side as it’s about shin high but very beautiful sound to hear as you sleep. depth of the river varies, if you walk thru campsites 9/10 for about quarter mile/half mile you’ll find the bigger deeper pools and larger waterfalls definitely a must see(dog was able to walk thru to these deeper pools with us) These bigger river pools have jumps that go from 40ft to 10ft jumps, fun jumping the smaller ones. Lots of bugs as expected, but very dog friendly campsite which I appreciated, clean bathrooms in the mornings. Campsite had more than enough room for the 6 of us that came. (10 person tent and small 3-person tent was able to fit w/ room for more tents) and was spacious from neighbors. No phone service, make sure to bring everything as the closest store is about a 20-25 minute drive, due to the long road of potholes BEWARE of those forsure. It’s about 6 miles long, overall wonderful experience.

Somewhat bare bones for some. But it was great!
Quiet, mostly empty during the week. Bathrooms were well maintained. The fresh water spring with potable water was some of the best water ever!
