It is a nice small campsite close to the water. All the campsites are pretty spread out from each other it was nice and quiet. I would book again!

The drive to this place from the highway was a little lengthy but that also adds to the seclusion of the site. The was plenty of room between campsites to give everyone a feeling of privacy. The main attraction here is the proximity to the river and the trail that runs parallel to it, just an amazing hike and beautiful views. The swimming hole was a nice place to cool off before hitting the rest of that trail and fly fishing down the the river. I was able to catch several trout on a dry fly and there is little else more satisfying than seeing the trout come to the surface of that clear water to take the fly. Nothing spectacular in terms of size, maybe 7-8 inch trout we threw back in off our barbless hooks but we all enjoyed the hunt. The only downside I experienced at this place was the bugs (bring plenty of deterrent of choice) and the condition of our specific site. Unfortunately ours looked like it had been used by just degenerate individuals who left broken glass everywhere, there where bullet dents in the side of the bear box as well. Bring a tent footprint so the glass doesn't tear into your tent. Honestly, it was disappointing to see the way some people treat such beautiful places. If you come here, please leave it the way you found it or better.
