First, the campground is very nice and the location is incredible. Campsite 2 is right along the creek and the babbling creek sounds good at night. The camp host Sue is a very nice person.
If you have a large trailer reserve a different
site (suggest 13 or 15). We have a 30 ft fifth wheel with slide outs. The description states up to a 32ft RV. We were able to tuck it into the spot but could not open one slide out because there are two trees opposite each other and only 10 ft apart. A smaller trailer or one without slide outs would work good there.
The road to the campground is 6 miles long and more than half is one and a half lane or smaller, with some turnouts. We were lucky not to come up on another trailer because some places would not allow passage. We had two vehicles and our car went ahead to warn other drivers that our monster rig was coming down the road.
Passed several cars and trucks with no problem.
We would recommend this campground for families with kids. There is a day use area with shallow slow moving water.

Beautiful, peaceful location, big campsites, many border the river water holes are incredible and so much fun! We go every year. You can bring your pup on a leash. Minimal amenities: potable drinking water and pit toilets; take mosquito repellant.

We loved our two-night stay here. The campsite was very beautiful and peaceful. Our first night, there was a large group that was kind of noisy and there was an altercation with a couple dogs that weren't leashed, but the next night it was very quiet and not crowded at all. We loved the sound of the running water, and we enjoyed wading in the super clean, cool stream and pools. There are nice hiking trails right from the campsite with some beautiful waterfalls. The only nearby attraction that we checked out were the Emerald Pools which were also gorgeous but a bit more crowded than expected. Watch out for snakes and bring bug spray for the mosquitos.
