What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

Great central location to camp. Militant camp host left a ‘courtesy notice’ on my vehicle because the kiosk was closed when I rolled in. I even left a confirmation of my reservation on my dash but they still wanted to flex their non existent authority.

Furnace creek is one of the worst campground I’ve stayed in a National park. The sites are uneven and on top of each other. There is no reason for how close the sites are to each other. You can hear the generators from other campers run all night, even in the tent only side. Other campers had no idea about light pollution caused by their string up lights nor any sense of car door slamming. I guess the rangers have decided not to enforce the quit hours. Only saw them drive through once the 5 days I was there. I may stay here again, but it will only be because I have no other choice.

Nicest campground in the park by far. Clean restrooms. Well maintained facilities. Saloon and restaurant an easy 5 minute walk. Must go to the Oasis hotel and have a drink and dinner in the bar.

Bathrooms were clean, camping spaces were large and campground was really quiet. I highly recommend camping here
