What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

They gave us a tent spot with trees because it was available when we got there and it was not our original spot. So thankful.
They were very nice about refunding one night when we decided to leave one day earlier.,
They just seemed to help and work with us on everything. Thank you.

We had so much fun despite the heat! We went in March when it should be 90 degree weather but an unexpected heat wave bumped us up to 105.
The stars are amazing so definitely stay up for that! I recommend Badwater basin if it's rained recently and there is water. Also check out the sand dunes to feel like you're in Egypt and check out golden canyon for a lovely hike.
My only complaint would be most of the campsites are tiny. About 3 parking spaces wide and 20 feet long. So make sure to look up on YouTube what each campsite looks like to get the bigger spots.

We had a great time at the campground. We were in a group site and it had plenty of room for us to spread out and feel some privacy, but was still closely located to restrooms, water and trash facilities. The bathrooms were clean (campsite clean) and the water was cool and had pressure. There was no soap available in the restrooms, which wasn't spectacular, but you just plan accordingly when you go.

A wonderful, peaceful campground on the doorstep of Zion.
Not much shade, if you come during a heat wave.
