What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

DV, is always the unexpected! We enjoy Furnace Creek campground every year about this time for 50 years. Got some of the bloom up at the Kilns and saw some more trees thining within the camppground. High temps were more than expected and our generator quit, unfortunately. We were there for 6 days and enjoyed the WildRose Tavern, the Ice Cream shop, and morning walks. The fun thing about DV and Furnace Creek campground is we never know what we will get, we plan for most every situation except our own generator failing. Oh well, a new experience and we still loved DV!

The sites are roomy and within reasonable distance of bathrooms. We also appreciated being able to swim at the adjacent hotel as it was quite hot when we were there.

There was some confusion about my campsite, but the ranger in the kiosk took care of it and actually moved me to a spot with full hook ups that I liked much better.

I was really enjoyed and relaxed your campground, bath rooms are clean and enough for toilets paper prepared.
However, I was confused when I go in where is Entrance? Even I was for three times camped.
You have only one old sign is fading on the right from 190 N to S.
I recommend, you should set up ASAP clearly sign at the ENTRANCE.
Thanks.
Definitely, I go there again and recommend to my friends 🧡.

We had a great time as always. The rangers at Furnace Creek were quite rude to tourists asking about the best areas to observe the super bloom. I was so surprised to hear their rudeness especially since there was a map highlighting specific areas of the park right there. I was able to help the foreign tourists just by showing them the map which was right in front of the doors at the visitor center entrance. It was just as they opened the visitor center so I felt they should have had more tolerance for the park guests with questions.

Nice central location for accessing the park. Clean restrooms and wash station. Some campers used the was station as their shower which was no Bueno. The trees near our campsite offered afternoon/evening shade which was appreciated since we were there during an early session heat wave. 108 in March!
