We are at the end of a 1 month stay at Desert View Mobile Home Club and I wanted to leave a review because this place is like a ‘hidden gem’ in this area. It is approx. 30 minutes from major shopping in Palm Springs or Indio (Costco, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Trader Joe’s etc.) and 10 mins or so from Desert Hot Springs (Von’s, Stater Bros). We were pleasantly surprised how well kept the grounds were at DVMHC. The streets are nice and wide to pull big rigs towing and the RV sites are exceptionally wide. The RV sites are easily double or triple the size of other parks in the area. DVMHC has a Club Room with a pool table, dart board, TV with seating area, library and a large table which is primarily used for puzzles. There is also a Hall with a full kitchen stocked with everything you would need. The residents hold events there including Happy Hour, Card Games, Bingo as well as special events Holiday dinners, Potlucks and there was even a Chili Cook Off while we were here. The Pool area is well kept with lots of loungers and seating areas with tables and chairs. There are 4 Mineral Hot Spring fed pools, 1 Cold Pool, 1 Hot Pool, 1 Jacuzzi and 1 Large regular temp Pool. Bonus there is also a 2 person Sauna. Other features include pickle ball and shuffleboard courts and a picnic area. The Laundry room was immaculate, wash load is $2 and dryer load is $1. Just outside the Laundry room is a large area to hang dry clothes. The entire building is key pad locked and secure. The maintenance Staff are always around working to keep the park looking fabulous! Joel is pleasant to deal with and helped us choose a suitable site for our rig. The residents and fellow RV’ers are very friendly and wave and say hello which is really nice. Beautiful view of the Valley to the West after dark!
The negatives were few but worthwhile a mention in case they are a hard no for others.
1) No locked gate to vehicle traffic at night
2) No dog park or designated area for dogs to relieve themselves
3) No Gazebos or Tents allowed for shelter from wind or rain (no spikes in the ground to secure these structures)

We would definitely return, but for a shorter visit as we have met some really great people here. Safe Travels!

A senior mobile home park with 158 total spaces. Around 60 lots have been converted to full hookup RV spaces. Average width is 30'. Plenty of room to set up "patio" areas on various sides of the rig, which makes for good shade throughout the day. VERY quiet. Has hot springs fed soaking tubs, swimming pool, clubhouse, rec room, and is bordered by open desert and a couple of other parks. 10 minutes to groceries, restaurants, gas, and other services. Twenty minutes to golf courses, Palm Springs, and other desert cities. VERY reasonably priced. Has a modest social and activity calendar and friendly atmosphere.

The amenities are awesome. Not as fancy as some RV parks but they have a pool, jacuzzi, hot pool and cold pool (really nice in the heat) and they are all hot springs mineral water.

HUGE lots. Many are wide open, which isn’t ideal for windy season, but many options to choose from. Book early and often.

Joel, the onsite manager is awesome, funny and a pleasure to work with.

Great option!

It is pretty far out, in Desert Edge, but it’s still only 10 miles to downtown Palm Springs.

We just finished a 3-month stay at this park. There are both mobile homes and RVs in this park. The RV spots are very large, although a bit unlevel. It's a very quiet and safe place. The laundry facilities are clean and include an area outside with clotheslines. But the best part of my stay were the mineral hot spring pools and spas! There are also many social activities planned throughout the month. We have reservations already made for next season and look forward to our stay.
