The men’s restroom by the pool has 2 showers. The hot water faucet handle is broken on both of them. There is an outdoor shower by the pool so I thought I would use that. The faucet handle came off in my hand. I stuck it back on and managed to turn on the water but it was cold water only. The men’s restroom at the other end of the park has 2 working showers but no toilet paper. The wifi is useless unless you’re in the common area near the pool. On the plus side, the staff is very friendly and the pool and jacuzzi are really nice.

Great RV camping resort/campground. Very clean in all aspects including pool and activities areas. Staff very helpful and pleasant. The area is quiet and peaceful with all types of camping types (RV hookups, tent, Eco Tents, and deluxe rental cabins). With all the activities in Palm Springs just 15 minutes away you can't go wrong.

We had a great stay at Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA. The campground was clean, safe, and very comfortable overall. We stayed in site 125, which had a covered picnic table and a gas fire pit, and it was absolutely perfect. The fire pit alone made the stay feel extra special and was such a nice way to relax in the evenings.
I usually prefer off-grid camping, but this was an ideal spot to slow down and enjoy some comfort without feeling crowded or chaotic. The showers and restrooms were clean, check-in and check-out were easy, and everything felt well maintained.
I would definitely stay here again and would request a similar site. If you’re looking for a comfortable base near Joshua Tree with thoughtful amenities, this KOA is a solid choice.

I *wanted* to love this koa so much! The pools and hot tub were huge hits, with putt putt second. Our family of 5 plus my senior father stayed in a cabin... The "loft" is only like 4 feet tall, be warned!! My father had to sleep up there with two kids - a queen bed & 2 bunk bed mattress were on the floor. Downstairs you had to go THROUGH the bathroom to get to the other room where a king bed was. Wasn't an issue until I got locked in the bedroom unable to get out! It was awful. Both my father and eldest son got really hurt by that ceiling when waking up. Disabled spouse younger child & I took the main level room if curious.
Basketball posts were up but the backboard and nets were completely removed, unplayable.
Coffee pot was broken.
Fridge was broken. Only freezer work. Maintenance was called, they switched the breaker and left. That was that. Didn't even tell us they left!
The jumping pad? Open 1-5. No. They opened it from 2-3 and took it down the second we went to use it. My kids were pissed. That was our only full day there and didn't get to utilize the accomodations. The older overweight lady in the office was so incredibly rude about it.
Gate service at night time was amazing, she was phenomenal.
I liked how low-key and quiet the area was. The lady hosting the movie night was the sweetest little thing.
Will probably revisit, but was really disappointed in this experience, especially considering the cost.

Just camped here last night, very quickly arranged trip. This KOA offered so much for our 1 night stay in a pop up camper. The staff was very kind, gave us suggestions for where to eat in Desert Hot Springs. Site was spacious and had a sturdy wooden table and bench. We had our 3 dogs and they offered 2 different dog parks, one of which was HUGE with plenty of room for our pups to explore and they LOVED it. Doggie bags located throughout campground. Mineral pool was very relaxing (though a little cooler than I had expected). Three hot tubs, and those WERE nice and toasty. Beautiful views of the mountains. Everything was CLEAN, the restroom was spotless, the campsite had no litter. Surrounding the mineral pool were rooms set for Reading, Card Playing, Exercise, Club House, Billiards. Place felt secure, code needed for bathroom and gate entry. Mini golf which I missed out on, but actually looked nice. Store on premises with pretty much everything you can imagine. Our site was a tent site since we have a canvas pop up, but power and water were still included. I thought the rate was excellent given all the amenities. Also, your fee allows you to stay almost 24 hours. Check in is at 12 pm, check out is at 11 am. Hugely appreciate this long day stay as more hotels and resorts only allow you to check in at 3 pm, then early check out. Only drawback that applies to most of Desert Hot Springs was intense winds during the night. But this is characteristic of the low desert region. Great stay, highly recommend.
