Wonderful cabin and property. A great surprise for my anniversary. My only quip is fix the front door lock so it can be locked from inside.

Such a lovely cabin full of nostalgia for a slower, quieter time and loved the appropriately themed forestry artwork. We brought our own water so no need to boil, and no sign of mice, tho we did keep all food in the fridge each night to play it safe. The solitude and peace from our busy world was just perfect. The queen bed was comfy, showers were just the right temperature, plenty of kitchen supplies - just perfect! A few mosquitos but not too many - easy enough to go indoors! Highly recommend!

This was one of several stays at our favorite cabin. It was clean upon arrival. Had a wonderful and not long enough stay with hikes to Weaver and Jenny Lake that start right across from the cabin, and Big Baldy nearby.

We had a great stay! Beautiful location. Enjoyed the hike to weaver lake. Good family memories.
Boil water notice - I wish we knew that we needed to boiled the water before drinking. I would have brought a few gallons of drinking water. Hot water heater was working.
Supplies- we had plenty of toilet paper, but the house was getting low on paper towels, tall kitchen garbage bags, dish soap, all purpose cleaner/ disinfectant wipes. I would bring plenty of back up supplies, the cabin is fairly remote.
Mice and critters- the house was clean when we arrived (thank you prior guests), but we could hear critters in the walls and attic. We didn’t find any droppings. We did keep food in plastic totes.

We were a family of 5 adults- the location was great- the cabin was very comfortable. The bugs are crazy so bring your bug spray- due to the bug activity we did not sleep with the windows open! Also, make sure to keep your food in sealed containers- lots of little mice in the cabin.

You need to turn on a water heater. Who wants to take a cold shower?

This is a great little place for families and small parties. The kitchen is fully stocked and the wood stove works like a charm. On the down side the water heater did not work which kinda sucked in December, the oven display is broken (we figured out it starts at 350 and moves in increments of 5), and you could hear critters in the walls but not the end of the world. Still 4/5 stars for me.

The cabin is in a great, isolated location; the kitchen was nicely equipped.
The downside of our visit in October 2019: the baseboard heaters in the bedroom did not work; and there was no hot water. Needless to say, the first night (before the woodburning stove had a chance to heat the 45 degree house) was uncomfortably cold. The kitchen stove heated water very quickly, to allow for washing and bathing.
I'd stay here again if visiting during the summer, or I'd bring an electric heater for the bedroom.
