What Guests Are Saying
Dogwood campground is highly praised for its beautiful and peaceful setting, well-kept facilities, and friendly hosts. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and spacious campsites, making it ideal for families and first-time campers. While some sites may be uneven and noise from other campers can be an issue, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many planning to return.

Oh my goodness!! I have done a LOT of camping in my 71 yearsβ¦but this is the cleanest and best run campground I have ever experienced!! The staff is fantastic and they go above and beyond on all fronts! We have stayed in Dogwood four times this year and have two more planned before they shut down for the winter. I highly recommend this campground!! Only a 12 minute drive to Lake Gregory in Crestline-where you can swim, fish, hike and boat!! What a treasure this campground is!! And all of that is only an hour drive from Los Angeles!! This campground is really a hidden treasure.

Site 46 was pretty good. Secluded, spacious, good shade. Things to know: site is down a short incline from parking, large enough for 10-person tent (not 100% level but flat), very near a restroom but you donβt have to see it, water spout next to site. Showers a shot drive or longer walk. You do slightly hear the nearby high school and distant highway but you do feel like youβre in the forest otherwise. Nice staff, clean facilities. Next door site 45 looked good too.

Campground is nice and clean. Price is a little high for a weekday tent camping.. but not enough to not want to go back.

Itβs a beautiful campsite, but I didnβt like the loud campers that didnβt go to sleep till 2am. I wished they enforce quite time after 10p.m. Also didnβt appreciate being charge for parking for a campsite that said Maximum of 2 vehicles, and they told me that campsites are only allowed one car per site, and the website was just a suggestion of how many cars fit. I told them I have camp there before, and I was never told that or charged. They told me that I must of had someone nice that time. It didnβt make any sense. Unfortunately it will be our last time camping on these campground.

Loved this site and how private it is. No neighbors on either side or around. The only thing is the pics are deceiving. We parked our vehicle and 22ft trailer on the pad, but it's higher up on a retaining wall. So you have to step down to the camp site and the picnic table. We like to put out fencing for our dogs along the trailer and our outdoor carpet and weren't able to do that. Would stay here again, just felt like the pics were deceiving and could be a fall/trip hazard for elderly or toddlers. Other than that, amazing campground. Gorgeous. Feels like you're in NorCal. All of the camp hosts we met were top notch!

Camped at site 12 with a tent. Conveniently located close the restrooms but not too close. There are 4 sites in that area so not as private but it was still enjoyable. Very friendly staff and they are constantly cleaning the campground. Cell service worked if needed.

This is a great, convenient/starter campground for us. We're avid campers, currently breaking in our 3 year old. So Dogwood provides a short commute for us, lots of nice facilities, lots of areas to explore, and very much gives the illusion of being farther away from civilization than it actually is. Friendly staff as well.
