Dogwood

Had a great time but was really disappointed that they enforce the check in time so strictly, we arrived about an hour before and had to wait in the parking lot. The lady in the booth made it up to us by offering us a bundle of wood so that was nice of her.

Campsites are super close together to the point that morning conversations can be heard from inside the tent while the neighbors were inside their tent. Bathrooms were super clean, camp site was supe mr clean and I even had reception.

Check in was quick and easy, basic instructions and cautions were given before we even reached the kiosk. Site and campground was clean and quiet, a little dusty when the breeze came up. Road and school noise was minimal, could imagine being nicely remote.

Excellent campground with great hosts. Facilities are maintained well. Be prepared to bring a very long hose if you have a space with water hook ups. Some spigots are quite far away---I mean like 50 ft! There is strict enforcement of fire size, which is very much needed in the area. This is one of our favorite campgrounds in the area.

This is such a wonderful campground. Was well kept and so many friendly staff. Will be returning.

So glad to have found this campground! The reviews were spot on. We reserved site 63. Ground was nice and level and well kept. We were worried about being to close to the restrooms, but it worked out in our favor. We were able to get water, wash our hands, and use the restroom by just crossing the road. Restrooms and showers were always clean and stocked with paper and soap. My husband left his phone in a restroom one morning. The camp host found it and brought it to the check in booth to be kept safely for us until we returned back to camp later that day.
One and only complaint is that we didn't have enough shade. Easily solved with an easy up (which we didn't have) We'll bring one next time.
All in all, amazing experience!

Dogwood is a beautiful Southern California campground with good spacing between most campsites. We stayed at site #10 with a 32' 5th wheel — site is nice and longer than indicated but only single wide — table and fire ring are down a small slope from the parking pad. Description indicates a "severe" grade on driveway — you will likely need extra blocks for leveling. For us, that meant raising passenger side ~6" and lowering front of 5th wheel ~10". We used two 2"x8" planks under passenger wheels and then leveled at usual — that was enough for us, no problems. Easy to back into space.

Picnic table and fire pit are surrounded by tall pines and cedars and heavy bushes and is very secluded from other campsites. Entire site is shaded most of the day, however, picnic table will get a few hours of sun mid-day. Site is good for shade on trailer/parking spot so obviously not good for roof-mounted solar panels.

Camp hosts in summer of 2023 were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful and kept the sites and bathrooms looking great! Great experience!

Great place to take a camping trip with your family and friends! I would definitely recommend these camp grounds if your looking for activities in the surrounding area and a feel of the great outdoors.

The place is super clean and well taken care of by the staff and the Dogwood camp host. They are super friendly and helpful since you arrive at the check in booth.
