Dogwood Campground is consistently praised for its cleanliness, beautiful natural surroundings, and well-maintained facilities, including flush toilets and hot showers. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the serene and private atmosphere provided by spacious campsites nestled among trees. While some visitors noted minor inconveniences, such as the price increase for firewood and challenges with tent placement, the overall experience remains highly rated, making it a popular choice for families and repeat visitors.

Place is clean and quiet. Our camp site was very spacious and it was easy to back in our teardrop trailer. Restroom was cleaned every day, but wished there was some sort of light in there, it is dark in there even in the day. Camp hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. Overall we had a really great time, my wife and I and our two labradors. We will return.

Our family just loves this campground! This is our second time here and we will definitely be returning. We do tent camping and the spots here are big and have plenty of shade. The bear lockers for our lifetime 77 cooler with room to spare. The fire pits are nice and deep and come with a rack. The showers here are so nice and clean they have hot water ! The bathrooms are clean as well even though there are only 2 stalls. If you ever need to charge something the rangers here will charge it for you. Speaking of the rangers, they are so friendly. They will drive around and wave and smile and check on everyone. The quiet hours are really quiet so people respect the rules here. The hiking trails are great and fun. I would consider them to be moderate trails definitely not for inexperienced hikers. The camp is also dog friendly which I absolutely love. 10/10!!!

My friend and I reserved what we hoped was close together campsites (77 & 79). They weere next to each other but not close and VERY sloped downhill and sideways. These seemed to be more appropriate for tent camping as the picnic tables and bear boxes were not at all close to the concrete parking spots. Camp staff were very pleasant and helpful

Site was great, very secluded from other campsites and had good shade. Back-in parking had a bit of a grade, so keep that in mind. Hot showers were very nice and made trip more enjoyable. Karen was amazing. Very knowledgable and helpful, showed us where things were located and gave us recommendations on hiking trails.
