Not only is the location absolutely beautiful, it also has great amenities. When we arrive, we are greeted by friendly staff, and our site is always meticulously clean as well as the bathrooms and showers. The camp hosts are situated at various places around the campground and are easily accessible and very helpful in answering our questions. Dogwood is definitely our favorite campground!

Campground was very clean and quiet. I hadn't camped in 30 years and was impressed with the entire campground. Our space was great and the bathroom facilities were clean and well stocked. I appreciated having the bear box and being apprised of bear sightings when I checked in.

Beautiful Campground to experience nature. The camp hosts are all friendly and they keep the place super clean and welcoming. Bring a hammock there is nothing more relaxing than being under the tall pines after a hike and a hot shower. Love this place can't wait to return.

This campground is beautiful!!
Super clean flush toilets and free showers.
Our site #49 looked like a Christmas tree farm.
There were a few yellow jackets around when food was present at the wonderfully large picnic table. The camp hosts and staff are very friendly. We felt extremely comfortable there. An adventure tip: Ride your bikes (about 2 miles uphill, not great for little kiddos) to the Strawberry Peak Fire Lookout. The views are spectacular and it’s free (unless you want to leave a donation). The volunteers there are very knowledgeable about the area. If biking isn’t for you, you can drive to the bottom of the tower and climb the stairs 😉
We are already looking forward to our next trip up there. Our new favorite place to go.

This is an excellent campground - lots of shade, great location and great restrooms. The only downside is that flat ground is at a premium - so you might be hard pressed to figure out where to setup tent. The campground hosts were great too. The trails around the campground are unmarked - so be sure to use an app like alltrails.

Our section of the campground was all non-electric tent sites. This meant no generator sounds while we tried to sleep. It's a pleasant campground in the woods. Fire was allowed in the pit at the site, and local wood for sale at the gate.

We stayed in site 21 with a 25 foot trailer. It was amazing and very private. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. The sites and bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely be back.
