Dogwood Campground is consistently praised for its cleanliness, beautiful natural surroundings, and well-maintained facilities, including flush toilets and hot showers. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the serene and private atmosphere provided by spacious campsites nestled among trees. While some visitors noted minor inconveniences, such as the price increase for firewood and challenges with tent placement, the overall experience remains highly rated, making it a popular choice for families and repeat visitors.

My family and I had a great time at Dogwood. We stayed in spot #70. Very spacious and clean! Loved how close the restrooms were and how clean they were as well. It’s pretty quite at night and the temperature was perfect! The only downside were the sand bees. They would come around whenever you started cooking and are pretty loud, you couldn’t escape them. I don’t believe they sting (they didn’t sting us at least just stopped on us) Next time I’ll bring a few easy ups with nets.

We really enjoyed our time here. The spaces were all so unique and different and we enjoyed the 2 we stayed in. The second one ( 91 ) was closer to the high school on the outer rim of the park and that was the only thing that was a bit disrupting to the peace and quiet. We hear cheering going in for quite a few hours. I think on that side of the park you're going to hear it more than our first spot over on the other side near the amphitheater. There was a black bear that entered the campground and made it's rounds through the campground in the middle of the day a couple days before we arrived so please take precautions no matter what time of day or night it is. The camp host are out and about constantly driving around in the golf carts and maintaining all the needs of the park and are very nice people. Overall we loved it here and will definitely be back!

The campground was well kept. The bathrooms were very clean and they even had showers! Bonus, the showers have working hot water! I've camped a lot and know hot showers can be a luxury, so this was very welcomed. In addition, they had two hiking trails and very friendly staff.

Not only is the location absolutely beautiful, it also has great amenities. When we arrive, we are greeted by friendly staff, and our site is always meticulously clean as well as the bathrooms and showers. The camp hosts are situated at various places around the campground and are easily accessible and very helpful in answering our questions. Dogwood is definitely our favorite campground!

Campground was very clean and quiet. I hadn't camped in 30 years and was impressed with the entire campground. Our space was great and the bathroom facilities were clean and well stocked. I appreciated having the bear box and being apprised of bear sightings when I checked in.
