If you want 1 day quick getaway from stress this is the place for you. Very quiet, nice location, clean campgrounds, decent and clean restrooms but no showers by the way, Host was very nice, if you need firewood she will provide it to you. Sad to say no reception or wifi available that’s why you need to unplug. Less than 5 minutes going to the lake by car.

Excellent campground, quiet, with well laid out sites and a 30 min drive to Big Bear Lake. I had site 26 and was able to enjoy shade all day at the large site and excellent stargazing while lounging around the firepit at night. It was nice to spend the day cycling on the bike trail along the north shore of Big Bear Lake during the day, then come back to the quieter (and cooler) campground in Green Valley. Will return.

When recreation.gov says that you are reserving 4 spots for vehicles, that should be honored and we should not be asked for more money if our vehicles are within that number. Greenvalley has their own rule of only 1 car per single site and 2 cars per double site that does not match up with what you are clearly reserving through rec.gov. This rule absolutely needs to change.

Great campsite, I loved feeling separated from the rest of the campground. Felt very private and isolated.

We stayed at site15 it was in a good location next to the bathroom and running water on site. This site in on a slant so beware. It is a well maintained campground.

We love this campsite! Great location with nice hikes and a lake nearby. It does get cold at night though so bring warm clothes & a warm sleeping bag. We booked campsite 6 but it was a bit small for 2 families so we moved to another site. The camphost was very accommodating and caring. The facilities are very clean. Will definitely be back!

In accordance with standard industry practices, Mountain Top Recreation will be assessing a $8 additional vehicle fee per night on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicles in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. The fee is collected at the Campground. |
