Nice camp hosts who kept the place quiet and clean all the time....emphasis on quiet especially during quiet hours.

We enjoyed Green Valley Campground. It was quiet and peaceful. We had a nice campsite and the bathroom was relatively clean. No showers. But it was not necessary for us since we only stayed on night. We slept in our small van and sat outside by the fire. You drive thru a small town on the way so you can pick some stuff up if you need it (we got ice). The camp host was helpful. No cell service really, but it was good since we wanted to unplug. I would recommend.

Lots of places for the kids to wander and hike. The lake was not open on weekdays so we did t get to swim.

Lots of "reserved" but vacant spots. No good hiking trails. Confusing dual enterances.

Excellent experience, well maintained campground. Traditional camping experience, I encourage all to visit Green Valley Family Campground.

The original two sites we reserved were overgrown with plants. The campground hosts called and let us know that and offered to hold two sites for our group. Those sites were perfect, near a restroom with running water. Overall a great experience, awesome camp hosts!

this was my second trip to Green Valley and i absolutely enjoyed it! my first trip, i stayed at site 9. this time around i was on site 16. this site has way more flying bugs than i remember. i brought a canopy that had mesh sides and within minutes it was filled with bugs. i don’t recall this happening before and it was the same canopy.
either way, bugs are a part of camping and i’m not docking stars for that. i am giving site 16 4 stars cause i liked it but i do think the set up of the stove bear box and fire pit could have been better. will be coming back and trying another spot! the ones i really liked in person were 6, 9, 17, and 29.

My wife has been coming here since she was young, and we have continued that tradition with our own kids. It is such a relief to see that this campground has kept its beauty over the years. We have experienced so many great hosts at this campground, but the current hosts have been amazing. They are very attentive to the experience campers go to the mountains for, and everything is super clean. Overall, one of our favorite places to visit every year, so much so that we typically come twice a summer.
