Site 8: 10/13-10/15/2023. Beautiful campground, very clean and well stocked restrooms, very clean campsite, raked and no trash, not even any "itsy-bitsys" as we called them in Scouts. Plenty of shade. Hosts were very nice and friendly. Firewood available for sale on site. Fantastic hiking right from camp. Will return again. Site 8 could have been a little flatter for a tent, but being from the Midwest where everything is flat, I'm a bit spoiled.

I love this campground! Our site was spectacular. The distance to the lake and the hiking provided within the campground made for an excellent trip.

A great little campground! We enjoyed site 5 with close proximity to the restroom and water, but we still felt like we had some privacy. The sweet camp hosts were thorough in cleaning and very helpful. The lady even tried to get our rain cover back on our tent while we were out when the inclement weather blew it off!

An easy drive from Los Angeles up to the campground! Easy check in and strict checkout when you leave. Spot 8 was flat and right next to a trail that was absolutely beautiful! The three of us really enjoyed our 2 night stay under the stars nestled between other families. Bathrooms are close to every campsite with a running water tap near as well. The best part is the green valley lake that is a 20 minute walk from our tent. We swam to the dock and spent the afternoon cooling off. I would recommend GVC to any family of any age. There are hikes and scenery lookouts that you have to find for yourself as well. Big Bear is beautiful beyond words.

We stayed here at site 15 in Mid-July. Site is very nice, with ample shade and easy access to water and restrooms. We came back with a group of other friends and stayed at 8, 9, 10 and 18. We've had a consistent excellent experience at the campground. The sites are well maintained and the hosts do a great job at checking in at the restrooms to ensure they are clean and in good order. I would just like to also say that the hosts Judy and Ed are exceptional hosts. They are friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and kind. They really make the campground enjoyable (besides the wonderful location). They're easy to communicate with and are thoughtful when it comes to ensuring all have a good time. We are sure to keep this campground on our favorites list!

This campground and bathrooms are clean! The hosts, Ed and Judy were wonderful. Attentive, outgoing, but not intrusive. Campground has two loops, both very well shaded. Ample space between sites. Campground is a mile from Green Valley Lake, and about half an hour from Big Bear. We’ll be back!

We love this little, quiet and clean campground. Have been here many times and never had a bad experience. Not far from Big Bear either!!
