Clean and quiet. Great views and spaced far apart. We were in #25. No shade. #24 and 23 had big trees and shade. Other sites near the restrooms and entrance were closer together and had more noise. Restrooms and sites well maintained. Camp host sells firewood and very friendly. Very scenic trail nearby that you enter from the campground. That trail then connects with other trails. I suggest researching them before you go. Everything else requires driving- Lake Arrowhead Village, Lake Gregory, and other trails. Some trails require parking pass, which you can purchase at Jensen's stores and other locations. Jensens also has almost everything else you need in case you forget something or want to buy local. We went midweek, so traffic was light. Also, site #25 bear box/storage was awkwardly facing away from you and towards the bushes and was difficult to access. We noticed that the camp trash bin was full and not bear proof, so you may not need to store food in June anyway. No squirrels seen, either.

First time in this place and was amazing, just a little disappointed because we couldn’t use the lake. But overall good

For a last minute Campsite it was fair. Didn't like that the restrooms were not too well kept on a daily but they were close to the site. Campsite # 19 had a bit of a slope. If you put your tent under the trees be ready to be have caterpillars all over it and of course spiders 🕷 (yes you are in the wilderness). T-Mobile and Verizon had good service.

- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
