Pineknot Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained setting with friendly hosts, making it an enjoyable experience for many campers. The sites are clean, spacious, and mostly shaded, with convenient access to nearby attractions and hiking trails. While there are minor concerns such as noise from neighboring sites and the absence of showers, overall, visitors appreciate the campground's cleanliness, management, and friendly atmosphere.

Nice camp close to Big Bear enough to enjoy the fireworks from a distance.

Campsite #37 is awful. It sits on the corner where the road splits, behind the noisy dumpster. Zero privacy unlike some of the nicer campsites above (#38,39). Constant people and dogs coming and going, even though there are walking trails literally outside of the campground. The campsite is sloped, as well as the bear box. This campsite was a workout. Spent afternoons moving our camp chairs, and cooler to stay cool. No shade from 10:30A until 6:30P. After this experience, I will avoid staying in Ntl Forest campgrounds.

Great campground that is an easy walk to Snow Summit Perfect spot if you plan on mountain biking there. Camp hosts were also excellent.

This is for campsite #019 - Our family of 4 had a great time. The campsite was large and secluded which gave a ton of privacy. The bathroom was close.
It would be great if Pineknot would add showers at the campground. We went in mid-June, so there was pollen everywhere, it dusted everything, including our tent.

The campground was very well-kept and clean. There were a few things that we were not big fans of. It is very close to the city. The first 10 or so campsites are directly across the street from condos. The land wasn't very flat. We picked the flattest spot we could find and still ended up sliding down and touching the wall of the tent throughout the night. The campsites are pretty small and close to others as well. The host was very nice and the area was great. It could have just been a little bit further away from the city in a flatter area.

There were two guys working there as camp coordinator/ assistant who were super nice and helpful. They let us use their power outlet and even offered us to borrow their tent pad. We really had a nice time and enjoyed camping there. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again
