Needed a spot for car camping at the last minute and Pine Knot came through. Spacious pad, clean bathrooms, bear boxes. Will be back next season.

This was a great spot but ur neighbors are not the friendliest. We did go to big bear lake where we rented a boat for $150/hr. Not much to see but it was cool. The campsite itself though was great and the staff keep it very clean including the bathrooms just bring your own hand soap.

Beautiful fall colors with lots of oak trees the last weekend of October. A bit crowded but lovely. Good access to nearby bike trails. Shawn (Sean?) the host was very helpful, accommodating and friendly.

Seann was our ranger and was so on top of cleaning all the facilities and making the grounds look really great. Such a cute campsite close to town which was perfect for what we were looking for!

The Site was actually really beautiful. I stayed there Oct 21,22,23 and had sites 36 and 38. I will say the best part of the site is the proximity of the bathroom. Because site 36 and 38 are on the edge of the loop it almost feels like the bathroom is private. The only reason I knocked a star was because in the photos these two sites seem pretty flat however when I got there it was pretty sloped and so if you have a bigger tent just know you will be sliding when you sleep at night. Other than the sloping everything was great. Great proximity to the Village and there's a 7-11 close by if you need anything else. You can purchase firewood from the Ranger that drives around in his golf cart you can also find where he's staying on the sign coming into the site. I could definitely come here again maybe in late Sept or early October.. It got pretty cold the last night I was there it dropped to 30 degrees with some rain.

Beautiful campground in town but as soon as you pull in you have the feel that you’re miles from civilization. Spacing between sites was generous and the restrooms were clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Nice campground! Our site (42) had three different places to set up a tent, a fire ring and a grill. The fire ring had a fixed grill over it, so plan on bringing something that can cook in the fire or your own grate. There's a trail that goes right into town. The first half was used by mountain bikers but the second half was just hikers.
