Gave it 5 stars as a clean, peaceful, close-to-me location. It’s adjacent to snow summit resort so not really secluded outside of the campground but really pretty inside. I was there to camp and go to Oktoberfest at the convention center. Pretty cold for Halloween and they didn’t allow fires because of fire season but we had fun. It’s not backcountry but it’s fun for car camping.

I absolutely loved Seann. He was very helpful in getting us to our spot and checking us in. He made the entire visit very welcoming and enjoyable. We loved his attitude and that he checked in on day 2. The site was clean and well maintained. Loved the pineknot camping ground and would definitely stay again.

The hosts do a great job of keeping the area clean. You feel like your in a forest but really, your in the heart of the town of Big Bear right at the base of Snow Summit.
