Our annual group camping experience at Gates - Ponderosa & Lodgepole - was super! The water worked. The groves were clean. And the cleaning crews did a great job on the toilets. The only negative was some late-night noise from some neighboring campers (in Aspen).
Ponderosa Notes:
+ Several of the food prep tables - tables without benches - need repair or replacement. It helps if you bring several long tarps to cover these tables.
+ One of the spigots was missing a handle, but there were plenty of others to get the job done

This is our 3rd time here and the experience is always great. The campsite is well maintained (especially the bathrooms). It is the best campsite I think in the area.
