Before we arrived they got 4 feet of fresh snow. It was a magical place to stay. We stayed in a cabin and the cabin was very spacious and had a refrigerator and a gas fireplace. The cabins are nestled in the woods. They rent out snowshoes so we snowshoed by Birch Lake and down another path. The evergreens had thick snow coverings and weather was perfect. You are also close to Hetch Hetchy. In addition they make up smore kits so you can make them in the evenings. Their general store has a nice variety if you want to grab a lunch to go or get a coffee. They also have a restaurant on-site and great food. Plus a pool, hot tub and a spa. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

I found this nice cute mix of cabins with lots of recreational areas by accident since the snow pushed the park to close some roads due to safety concerns. I was able to get a room without a reservation.
Tom was super accommodating, immediately got me connected to the Wi-Fi and provided me with lots of valuable info about the area and complex. So glad they give a physical key instead of those cards that always get lost.
The cabin was well outfitted with lots of materials to keep me entertained from books to Alexa Echo to play my music and set my alarm
Ample parking and well lit yet I was able to see the stars at night.
The rec room has lots of more things to do along the s'more kits and fireplaces around.
The pool was closed for the season but there was a spa/jacuzzi outside with towels and chairs; no excessive use of chlorine which was really good.
Lots of history and friendly staff.
The cabin was way better than most hotels I had stayed at. No issues whatsoever! Very clean and well maintained.
I wish breakfast was served until 11am but the store which has very friendly staff and high quality products also sells quick bits and very healthy local snacks.
I will definitely stay again for another time like summer or a firefall event.
I did a late check out since I got hooked with some many things to do yet they never got pushy or mad about it. Thanks for the flexibility!

We love everything about this place! The food is yummy, the tavern atmosphere is great, the staff is so kind — notably Kiya at the tavern was very sweet and attentive. The views are amazing and we are wanting for nothing in the rooms! We love staying here and would do so again!

An amazing getaway spot in Yosemite. Surrounded by so much love! Tom at the front desk went above and beyond during our stay. Unfortunately, during our visit to Yosemite, my family and I were stranded due to the winter storm. Tom was so kind to advise us on what to do as we were not familiar with Hwy-120. On top of that, he reimbursed our stay for the night we were unable to make it due to the winter storm. When we arrived at the desk and spoke to him, he ensured we were treated as part of the Evergreen lodge family. He was so considerate towards us. Even before the stormy situation, my family and I had already decided to make a second trip later in the year but the experience with Tom definitely reassured that decision! We will be back again to experience the family friendly environment at Evergreen Lodge. Also, the restaurant staff were amazing. Overall, everything about this location and place is phenomenal.

Just went here for dinner. Food was quite good, especially the starters. Tried the focaccia, the baked pear, and the Brussels sprouts. All three were excellent. I was less impressed with the jackfruit burger which was very dry. The butternut squash soup was very tasty with the interesting more of pickled cranberry. I also tried the mushroom pasta which I would pick next time as my main. The brie and apple burger was good though for some reason I felt it clashed a little with the arugula. Great place for some somewhat upscale dining near Yosemite.
