This place was good for our one night stay.
We waited till 1pm to see if there was a spot. The park is a big lot and only 3 or 4 other campers. There is no host everything is online.
We used the laundry room it took almost $8 in quarters for one nice load. There is a vending machine for soap and change machine. Outside is a covered patio with lights, tables, grills and few games.
The only bathroom is in far corner no money needed for shower. Two toilets in each.
There is an outdoor sink for washing dishes.

Very convenient location being right next to Joshua Tree National Park, you can't beat how close it is. It is essentially a large sandy lot with hookups, but for the location, it is definitely still very nice. They have showers and a bathroom, which seemed clean enough. We didn't use the laundromat, but they had one. We had a region-wide power outage during our visit, and management immediately informed us of the issue and provided a quick ETA for a resolution. I appreciate how on top of things they were with this situation, considering it was 105F that day. There didn't seem to be anyone regularly on site, which would be nice for security purposes. When we first arrived, some lady clearly on meth walked right into the campground and all the way back to the bathhouse to ask me something unintelligible about where the pool was. She then proceeded to stumble around the campground for a few minutes before leaving. Situations like this are somewhat of a safety concern, considering no one was there to tell her to leave but me. Nothing bad happened, but I could see this being a problem for other campers. Overall, if you are only staying a few nights, I think it is a perfectly good area to stay, especially if you want to see Joshua Tree. Just be aware that it's nothing crazy fancy like other reviewers have said.

Just got back from staying at this spot and would easily book again. Hosts make check in super easy. The campground is very spacious and very easy for backing in our trailer. We went on a weekend where the weather was in the 80s and the tree provided good shade when our awning didn't. We didn't use the facilities because of having full hookups with our RV but the set up was easy for us. Our black tank is closer to the front of our trailer, and the sewer hookup at the site is near the rear of each campsite so we zipped over to Walmart and had to buy an extension for our hose, no big deal. They also have gate access to the park nextdoor which was great for our dog and riding bikes with the kids over there. The location is very close to JT West entrance and visitor center, shops, restaurants etc.

JTRV hosted a group of our friends and family during our wedding weekend nearby, and they were wonderful to work with. Throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding, they were incredibly helpful with arranging accommodations for our group and always so friendly and kind. They helped make the weekend smooth and enjoyable for everyone, and we truly appreciated their hospitality.

Ive stayed several times and always have enjoyed my experience. The rates are reasonable, the location is amazing being adjacent to the community park and walking to the entertainment district, the facility is well maintained, clean and cared for. I feel valued as a guest, accommodated should a need arise and allowed space to relax and enjoy my experience. The sites are large and the pride of ownership is omnipresent. I hope to try the weekend yoga some day, I appreciate the laundry facility, ease of check in, website functionality and overall great consumer experience. I look forward to my next visit.
