Goldledge Campground offers a beautiful setting with great river access, stunning views, and a relaxing atmosphere, making it a favorite for many campers. Sites like 16 and 29 provide spacious, secluded spots ideal for families. However, there are concerns regarding restroom maintenance and limited shade in some areas, which could be improved for a better experience.

We enjoyed the location of the campground but people didnβt take great care of the place. Our bench was beat up and cracked. There was trash at our campsite (beer can, cigarette butts and some random plastic cutlery). There was dog poop on the walkway by the bathrooms and the walkway by our site. Great location, but too many people who donβt clean up after themselves.

lovely area, a bit too hot in July when we went...definitely prepare with diy shade. Unfortunately I picked up a lot of trash around the site and river that wasn't ours. I felt like it was unfortunate that there seemed to be so many careless campers flooding through. Why wouldn't people just have the common sense and respect to keep nature clean?

Way too crowded, and there is zero enforcement on group size and location. At least 4 groups decided to put up a tent where they could fit and just camped with no reservation. Day campers had occupied my campsite when I showed up to start my trip. Parking is insane too, people seemed to lie about how many vehicles they had, to avoid paying the extra vehicle cost, and then took up spots that didnβt belong to them

Road and campground were closed. Despite having made reservations no notice was sent by recreation.gov - make sure you check every updated Cal-Fire road and other closures before driving to anywhere in California....

Itβs a family oriented campground, the river area is close by with a beach area for little ones. We have been staying her for years and truly enjoy it.
