Great campground! River access is super convenient and the river was calm along that stretch.

The host was over bearing. He harassed us every other day. He was very rude. He woke us up before dawn. He argued with my children when i was in the restroom.

Camp host was excellent. Sad no charcoal or wood fires, but that's the drought's fault. Campsites and Yurts great. Too bad the water source at yurt 31 was out, but things happen. Site was clean on arrival despite coming the day after a holiday. We cleaned up after ourselves too. Other campers were appropriate. We white water rafted during the day, it was great. Close to great hikes and 100 giants(redwoods)

Thought campfires were not allowed. Observed campsite who had fire burning morning and night.

Great place to be able to float in the river along side the campground. Host is super cool and interactive. Remember, no showers available and only has vault toilets. Check your campsite location to see what fits you best. Some have more shade than others while some have lots of large rocks all throughout. Keep your food and personal items locked at night to keep out critters. Also, no cell service at all so perfect spot to really separate yourself from the world. About 10 minutes into town to get basically anything you need. There is also a small general store closer to the campground.
