What Guests Are Saying
Headquarters Campground offers a charming and family-friendly atmosphere, with clean facilities and attentive hosts, particularly Candace, who enhances the camping experience. Many families cherish their time here, enjoying the beautiful river access and the peaceful surroundings. While there are some concerns about water quality and restroom conditions, overall, visitors appreciate the campground's beauty and are eager to return.

the host was super friendly and patient, he mentioned that glass is allowed so don’t take glass, the place is ok, there is a river really close to the campground, a lot of trees, and a lot of wildlife, I liked it

I love everything about this campsite. The website should be updated to read "water may be turned of from October to ???, to alleviate potential pipe issues. I had no problems because I always bring my own water, but our friends were not prepared.

We have a 35’ motorhome and while they said there is a 30’ length we had plenty of room in our campsite. This is a very nice campground. Unfortunately, there are no RV amenities. The campground surroundings were beautiful. There are only a few areas with access to the water and only one with a small beach area. We will definitely be coming back.

My family and friends have been going to Sequoia for years and staying overnight at Headquarters Camp. Many of our stays have been good and pleasant but more often the other campers who stay at Headquarters have been loud and rowdy after 10 PM. Also the bathrooms REALLY NEED to be remodeled. It's a shame the restrooms can't be a little cleaner.

I have been going to Headquarter Campground for 25 years, I love the campground and love enjoying the river. BUT I love it with other campers that keep their music and voices inside of their campground.

I always plan a family camping trip at Headquarters. It is clean, the groundskeeper is always very nice and informative.
