What Guests Are Saying

Hobo Campground offers a great experience with nice hosts and clean facilities. Site 3 is spacious, shaded, and has creek access, making it ideal for winter camping despite some bug issues. However, maintenance could be improved, particularly regarding the cleanliness of the toilets.

First of all the host is amazing. This is our second time at this camp site and he is always very attentive plus gives a lot of information on the area. The river is beautiful however known to be very dangerous so please stay safe keep out of the middle of the river if you decide to swim. Overall beautiful view, great camp site to disconnect from the chaos of the city and just relax.

80% of the campsite was under water. The table was under water. The fire pit was under water. The entire campsite was muddy.

Bob is an incredibly helpful and friendly camp host! I took my son and his friends camping during a storm and Bob helped us cross the stream / river in our car, helped us start a good fire and was regularly checking to see how we were doing. We had an amazing time! Thank you.

Hobo campground was absolutely gorgeous! The camp host was super friendly and helpful. Full transparency, I am having a hard time leaving a review. I want to say it was terrible so should we go back, maybe we could reserve a site easier than what has become the norm (waking up the morning reservations open and still somehow hoping you get lucky). This campground, like many these days, showed that every site had been reserved for the night we stayed. There was only one other site actually occupied. If you reserve a site and can not make it, please cancel it so others may get to enjoy the hard-to-get reservations.

Bob was our camp host at Sandy flat. We have returned to see him several times we are older and feel safe and have seen him work hard to keep the campgrounds and Bathrooms spotless. Bryan was our camp host at Hobo , he came to our aid after our car battery went dead.Very Helpful and friendly knowledgeable about area. Hope to see them both next time. Great hosts. Wonderful time.

With the closure of the hot springs, the park has lost its' allure.
