Many guests appreciate the spacious sites and beautiful views, making it ideal for family trips and access to local attractions. However, some mention noise from nearby I-5 and trains, as well as issues with site reservations and vegetation, but overall, many express a desire to return.

We had the BEST visit! It was our first trip to Antlers and Lake Shasta. We packed up our travel trailer, boat, 5 kids and a dog and drove for 6 hours to make it to the campground. When we arrived (exhausted and hungry), the camp hosts Mike and Janae were the most helpful, warm, and welcoming. They let us leave one of the vehicles off to the side while we got the trailer situated. My husband and I had a communication error about hookups, and the hosts totally helped us out in our bind. They stopped by on day 2 to check in and make sure we were acclimating to the warmer weather. It was so nice to have people there looking out for us. We plan to visit again!!

I stayed at Antlers for one night mid May 2024. My location was perfect, shaded by a large oak tree.Behind was a flower filled small meadow with a 30 second walk to a lookout over Shasta Lake. Far enough from the I5 that traffic noise was not really noticable. As I stayed over Tuesday night there was only 1 other camper in our end of the campground. I will stay here again.

Wish the site had full hook up. That said, we enjoyed our visit because the neighbors were at a good distance away from our site. And sightseeing about Shasta was most educational.

Pretty nice campground, some of the trees along the edge could use trimming both at the sides and above. We didn't use the bathrooms or showers so don't know about them. We have a 40 ft long 13 ft tall motorhome and don't like having to brush through the trees to get around in campgrounds. The host wasn't available most of the time we were there.

Our campsite was nice. We enjoyed our time right by Shasta Lake. The trash bin did fill pretty quick but that could be due to it being a holiday weekend and everyone was out camping. Bathrooms were okay I mean you can't expect much from camping.
