Love the convenience of the small store across the street and that we can keep our boat moored near the campsite!

There are resorts nearby and i heard pounding live music from 8-10pm. Not offensive, but not welcomed in an “outdoors” vacation. I left the city behind, i thought.

The new camp host is doing an awesome job keeping the campgrounds looking great. We camped, we swam, we boated with our dogs and went for a day trip to Mt Shasta. Lakeshore East is the perfect home base.

The place is great, next to the lake. Kinda difficult go into the water, there is no shore.
Restrooms were clean.

Paid an extra day for a campsite by phone on the same day and got charged twice.

If you plan to stay here, read your emails carefully. This site requires you to CALL ONE WEEK BEFORE your reservation to get a code to the yurt. Without the code you cannot access the Yurt. This detail is not obvious in your emails or booking. I was unable to access my yurt and had to drive to the next town and get a hotel. Huge waste of time and money.

The campgrounds hosts were very nice and had everything in ship shape. The campgrounds were clean, as were the bathrooms.

I had a perfect camping experience here We loved our woodsy surroundings, view of the lake, and direct water access. Our host was helpful and kind. And we appreciated having bathrooms and drinking water right nearby. 2 thumbs up for this lowkey and lovely campground

When I arrived at my site there was a family settled in and eating at the table. I checked with the Host and she was aware they were there. She asked if I wanted her to come with me to confront them. When I said, "yes", she then replied that the camp was pretty empty and I could pick any other spot. I was exhausted from the drive and chose another less desirable site. I walked to the original site and spoke with the campers requesting they leave in the morning. They were gone in the am, but the site was full of trash. Perhaps some was from the bottom of the lake as it was low. Bottom line it was disgusting and disappointing.
