The camp ground itself was nice but don’t try to use your steaks when setting up tent because the ground is too hard to get any in. We camped at Bailey maybe 2 weeks ago now and we’re surprised in the morning when we walked to the lake only to discover it was completely dried out! That was a bit disappointing

Lake is dry. Showed up to my spot and someone had a tent there. Waited 2 hrs and left

Not sure who should be responsible, but when we arrived at our campsite close to 10pm, there was a "squatter" all set up there. We were able to convince him that he needed to move, but it took quite a while and he left an awful mess behind.

It was eerie how low the water was. We had to drive a bout a quarter of a mile along the dry lake floor to find what little water there was. Take caution where you set your tent up, the poison oak is prolific. Make sure you do thorough, nightly tick checks, they are prolific as well. Other than that, our experience at Bailey Cove was enjoyable.
