I really wanted to enjoy Bailey Cove. The campsite was quite small and surrounded by poison oak. That wasn't as bad a being able to see and hear the freeway right above us. The camp host was great and stopped by to see if we needed anything. The toilets were clean. Some neighbors had their dogs of leash which upset out leashed dogs to the point I had to put them in the motorhome. I don't think we'll return again.

The campground itself was beautiful. Bathrooms were super clean. The camp host was very friendly. We were in site 7. It was huge and we ended having two tents and hosting all of our family for meals. It was shaded in the afternoon but late morning we were in the sun and it was hot. I wouldn’t recommend site 7 if you have small children. It is right on a cliff.

My biggest and only complaint is that you literally hear the highway the whole time. You are right off the highway. We didn’t notice it so much while we were awake and socializing but I had to take Benadryl to sleep at night. It was so loud.

A small camp ground on an hillside and close to hwy 5. It has flash toilets and very clean. It was very hot during the day this summer (109F) but as the sun went down, the temperature dropped to 70s which is perfect for camping.

We read a lot of negative comments, but did not have an issue with anything. The bathrooms were clean, and the noise from the highway did not bother us. It was very convenient when visiting the caverns and lake dinner cruise. We loved it.

Did not stay the night at this site due to the size of tent spot not big enough and an illness with one of the campeers.

Campgrounds were overgrown with stickers and some tall grass, a fire danger and not good for the dogs! Maintenance people need a weedeater!

Campground was clean and quiet, our only regret is that we waited to late in the summer and the water level on the lake was really low. I would recommend going earlier in the year when the water levels are higher. Other than that it was a great trip

The site (#7) has two picknick tables and near by restrooms and running water very near by. Also near by is the I5 which you can hear the traffic both daytime and during the night particularly when the truckers use their jake breaks.
