The space was impeccable, well cared for, table and bear boxes clean, the camp spot was raked! Bathroom was spotless and had flush toilets. The campground host was super nice and must have been the one taking care of these things. Our spot was far enough from the road to not hear traffic. All in all, a fantastic experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great stay at this campsite! The site was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The surrounding scenery was beautiful, and it was easy to access nearby hiking trails and the lake. The restrooms were super clean and the campground was well cared for. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing camping trip. Thank you for the great hospitality to the best camp hosts John and Angelica.

John and Alejandra were the best, most attentive hosts at this Catavee Campground. They were always actively taking time to make sure that campers and RV users were comfortable and satisfied with the conditions at this campground. Can't thank them enough for their attention to detail and concern for the guests and the facilities under their care. Bravo to them.
Note to Management: Recruit and employ hosts who are as dedicated to their work as this couple.

It was wonderful to FINALLY be able to camp in Catavee. I appreciate it being open but was frustrated for several years that it took so long to open! Come on, Forest Service!
It was great!

We stayed in campsite #9. Great site. It has a good distance from the other campsites. Except for it being further from the bathrooms. Still excellent. You can fit 2 big tents comfortably. There was running water right across from us. As well as the trash bins. The host, John, came to check in on us after we came in late. Gave us the run down on the campsite rules - all basic rules. The bathrooms were also clean and always stocked with toilet paper. Would recommend to others. Good for beginners.
