Great Lake to relax and enjoy nature. Trails are accessible. Lake is great for kayaking and sailing.

The campsite was clean, the view was beautiful, but because of the bucking up of logs and loading them for transport to a sawmill in the adjacent Bear Creek Day-Use area, the mornings felt more like being on a commercial logging site. Furthermore, the rather intrusive annoyance of a-holes on jet skis careening around the cove in front of the campground for extended periods made it less than relaxing. I don't go camping to listen to loud machines, and I don't think anyone else does either.

Weather was great this time of year. Huntington lake was very nice. Campsite was clean. As well as the restrooms! Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. They gave us good instructions on finding the campsite checking location. It was not at the campsite. It’s by the boat ramp parking area little bit before you get to Deer creek campground. It’s a small looking shack towards the back of the parking lot. Definitely coming back!
