We have been coming to Billy Creek for over fifty years. We seen many changes to both Upper and Lower Billy Creek as well as the lake itself. We enjoy staying at Billy Creek, the campground hosts are terrific, the view of the lake is one that we really enjoy. Fishing, sailing, hiking, taking wildlife photographs and taking walks on the path are all fun activities. We also enjoy the nearby off road trails in our Jeep. If you don't feel like cooking there are the restaurants nearby at Lakeshore and within walking distance, Huntington Lake Resort.

So peaceful and clean. Campsite was large and very well prepped for us. Will definitely book this again.

It was fun but we should have taken a canopy because there wasn’t much shade in camp ground due to lack of trees. Very clean and well kept up.

Online system map was not updated and at checkin I was informed we were in a different space but the same number. My trailer barely fit and we next to the toilets (slamming doors day and night with very bright lights). The campground is very tight and hard to maneuver. The entrance/exit is steep and the backend of the trailer scraped causing damage to the electric stabilizer jacks.

The campsites are very clean, very quiet, and there is plenty of space between campsites. The bathrooms are also clean and very well kept. This camp site is not to far from the water, its about a 5-10 min walk with fishing gear in hand.

upper billy creek campground: we got site 7 and 36...had to cancel 36 because of flood in July (constant water trickling down from the mountain due to good snow season). site 7 is classified as 12 campers, unfortunately this site is more suitable for 8 people at most, fits two 6 person tents back to back. so that's our biggest gripe with this campground...can't fit 12 people, the sites are pretty small
other than that, the Rancheria Falls is really beautiful; there are 2 big lakes for water kayaking, boating, pretty small town.

Nice campground right on the lake. Lots of families playing in the water. Great easy hiking trail. A 10 minute walk gets you to a resort with boats, restraunt and ice cream
